Thanks for checking out this website. Our intention is to give all the latest Australian news, such as album and single release dates and TOUR dates as well as general content. I started this website five years ago after seeing Alex (in The Calling), in concert. My review is below. I was able to start this website and the Australian street team soon after the concert. Many thanks to all the people who have contributed to this website, with photos, reviews and up to date news. In 2002/2003 we managed to put together a journal from fans which I sent to Alex. You can read his thanks on 'Alex messages to Australia' (scroll down). This site is a tribute to the amazing talent of Alex. Information and updates are from the Alex official website, Alex Myspace, Alex official fansite and from the members of the Aussie street team who help contribute to the latest Aussie news. Since Alex has become a solo artist this website is now dedicated to his solo career. Sydney Australia 'The Metro' (April 11th 2002) When I first heard the news about The Calling coming to Australia I never imagined that I'd get to see the guys in concert or meet them afterwards. The opening band went for around an hour. When The Calling came on stage, they opened with 'Final Answer' which was brilliant. Alex's unique and powerful voice was incredible to hear live. After the first song Alex talked to the crowd about Australia. The set continued with 'Nothing's Changed', 'Unstoppable' and 'Things Don't Always Turn Out That Way.' Throughout the concert Alex played guitar for songs 'Could It Be' 'When It all falls down', and then played acoustic guitar for 'Stigmatised' and 'Thankyou.' 'Wherever You Will Go' was the second last song played and 'Adrienne' was played as the encore. After the concert I was able to have a chat with Alex, which was awesome. Overall fantastic concert, fantastic show.
