Monday, August 12th. Columbia, Missouri Arrived at the Venue extremely early, again. lol. Our hotel was only 2 blocks away so that worked out well for going back and forth and resting, etc. We got in line and made friends with a wino. He was really funny and kept coming by to talk to us all day, he was pretty harmless and entertaining. I headed back to the hotel to get ice for our water and cool off for a bit. Perfect timing on my part because a HUGE storm moved in just as I got to the hotel. I waitied it out there for a bit and then headed back.

The radio station people were there at that point and were picking people to go in for VIP, I got picked along with Amanda, Bethany and Becca. They did When It All Falls Down for soundcheck and then had the fastest meet and greet you have ever seen in your life. The guy was really annoying and kept saying "HURRY, we don't have time for this". Finally Alex, said it's OK we have time. They only allowed one pic so I got one with both Alex and Billy. Aaron wasn't there cause he was really feeling awful. I felt so bad for him. So they finally opened the doors and it was a battle getting front row. I got my favorite spot again between Aaron and Alex. This was def. the worse part of the day and i'm not gonna go into it. All was well in the end. Way too much stress for me though, lol.

The opening band was really good and a lot of fun. They were called the F Bombs. FINALLY (why does it take so long for TC to come out and go soooooo fast once they are out there ) the guys hit the stage. Poor Aaron, he just looked like he was in so much pain, I felt bad for him. But the show totally rocked. It is probably the best I have ever heard them. Alex's vocals were beyond amazing. That boy just puts so much passion in everything he sings. They were just so on that night, lots of passion, lots of energy. It was wonderful. Nate was even rocking out like I have never seen him, at one point he was standing up and making crazy faces, It was the best. Alex tripped twice which was hysterical. Kelly was getting really emotional during CIBAH (those of you who don't know, her mom died recently and the song really helped her during everything), so she's crying and I'm hugging her and Alex runs right into the speaker. Well, it broke the moment and we just started cracking up. Anyway, Alex found me again during WYWG and grabbed my hand :) . They also played Final Answer for Erica and I because we told them in Kansas that we didn't want to go home without hearing it since they didn't play it in Kansas. So that was very sweet of them. They didn't do Just that Good, I don't think Aaron could have handled playing the drums during the switch. He was a real trooper through the whole show though. We had bought a crazy cat for him like Alex's and I pulled it out of the bag and showed it to him while he was on stage and he gave us a big smile.

Ok, shows over. Outside Alex is the first one out. We got in line because my pic with him didn't come out from the night before. So I got another one with him and got to say goodbye. I told him I was flying back to NY in the morning and he gave me the hugest hug and I thanked him for always being so sweet to me. And he said, well Thank you for being such a great fan. Then I asked him for a pic with his huge grin and he was sweet enough to give me a great one. We showed him the card we bought Dino, it was a huge cheeseburger, which Alex thought was pretty funny. We said well you told us to buy dino a burger in your tour diary. :) Ok, moving on.....caught up with Billy to get a pic with him and I said "do your billy face" and he said "ok, i'm not doing that anymore tonight except for with MOM", lol. So then he's like why don't we both do it, so I have a pic now of me and billy with our tongues hanging out. I told Nate he was awesome tonight and how much we loved his performance. I went over to wait for Angie and Erica to talk to Alex and when Alex was signing for her and asked her name, i said Angie is one of my favorite kids on the loft, but she's the one I ground the most, lol. Ang loved that. :)) So, we still had Aaron's cat to give him from Kelly, Erica and I and Dan said NOPE, he's not coming out. Doctor's orders. I totally understood. I gave the cat to Dan after Alex played with it for a minute. I told Alex he and Aaron could play on the bus. hahaha. So i hope Aaron liked it :) I did manage to say bye to Aaron through the back bus window, so I blew him a kiss and told him to feel better. We decided to head back to the hotel at that point cause we were starving and had not eaten since noon. It was Angie, Erica, Kelly and her two friends and me. We ordered Pizza and soda and had a great time talking about how great the guys were. Angie and Erica headed to Ang's place and we stayed the night. I was up at 6:00 so Pam could take me to the airport. Very tired, but very happy. It was a great trip. :)))

CT Show in May 2000.

Last night's show in Ct was the most amazing night. It started out with my getting to talk to Aaron for a few minutes when I first got there, got a great Aaron Hug and a kiss on the cheek :). I was able to give him the scrapbook to have everyone sign it for Aimee. Got a quick Hi from Alex and I was able to give he and Alex their early birthday presents, then they had to take off for a tv appearance. We got front row for the show and they were awesome as always, and I got a smile and wave from both of my favorite guys.

After the show, I am thrilled, happy, ready to go home cause my night was already complete, when Rick, their tour manager came and found me in the crowd of people waiting and said "Debbie, can you come with me", so of course, I went. LOL. He took me right to the bus and said go on in, the guys want to say HI to you. So, there I was all alone with the guys on the bus. They were so incredibly sweet to me and Rick took a picture of me with all of them and then one of just me and Alex :)(i had gotten one with aaron earlier in the day). We had a great conversation and Alex and Aaron both thanked me for their gifts. I got a hug from Alex, and I can assure you he is right up there with Aaron in the Hug Dept. The gifts seemed to really mean alot to them, which was great, because they meant a lot to me. I got to tell Billy all about Corey (B.I.T.) and he loved it. Alex asked if there was anything else they could do for me and I said , welllll, Poor Shawna had been outside waiting forever to give them their 2002 tour poster, which was HUGE and fantastic, by the way.

So, Alex said, well go get her and bring her on the bus. So I got Shawna and the posters and we came back on. The guys all gathered around the poster and were like little kids reliving their tour stops, recognizing people. They were truly touched and loved the Poster. Great job Shawna. Billy was the funniest, he loved all the pics and wants Shawna to send them to him. So then Shawna and I figured we should let them get going, so we left, two very happy TC fans :)

Well, that is the end of my epic. I'm telling you guys Alex is still the sweetest person in the world, don't ever let anyone tell you any different. They all are :)
